Are there tryouts?
There will not any tryouts, however, teams will be put together within an age group and we will have a skills evaluation day on October 18th in order to balance out the teams.

Can my child play on the team with his/her friend?
Due to the many factors involved in trying to make fair and balanced teams, we can not always grant your request though we will take your request under consideration when the teams are formed.

Do my parents have to be police officers to participate in this league?
No you do not. The league is open to all players in the community.

How do I register?
Go to www.sjpdpal.com/basketball and follow the instructions.

My child really wants to play with a certain coach. Can he/she play on the coach's team
Please make your request when you register. We will review the requests and then make the appropriate decision deemed necessary in order to create balanced teams.

What happens if my child decides not to play, do I get my money back?
If you request in writing a refund before the first game, you will get a refund less $10 for the processing fee

What if I sign my child up to play for a certain team but there are not enough players in his/her age group to form a team?
We will place your child on another team that needs players. Depending on the circumstances, we will merge the two smaller teams together to make one team.

What is the cost?
The cost of the league will be $75.00.

All games will be played at Orchard School Gym & Event Center
