The rental of San Jose PAL Stadium is Subject to the following condition.
Hold Harmless Clause: The persons or organizations renting the Stadium facilities agree to hold the City of San Jose and San Jose PAL, its agents and employees, free and harmless from any loss, damage liability, cost, or expenses that may arise during or be caused in any way by such use or occupancy of City property.
Rules and Regulations: The person and organizations renting San Jose PAL Stadium agree to be bound by and conform to all regulations and policies of the City of San Jose and San Jose PAL.
Liability Coverage: The person or organizations renting the Stadium shall provide liability insurance at his/their sole expense in the following minimum amounts: BODILY INJURY $500,000 each person; $1,000,00 for snore than one person each occurrence. PROPERTY DAMAGE $100,000 each occurrence and $200,000 aggregate for all employees ad additional insured. The policy shall name the City of San Jose and San Jose PAL as insured. A letter from the insurance company or other evidence of the above-required coverage must be delivered to the San Jose PAL administrative office 680 s. 34th St San Jose, CA at least 12hours prior to the scheduled event, or such event may be canceled at the discretion of the SJ PAL Executive Director.
Charges for Rental: Will be made in Individual accordance with the established rate schedule. The fees include the initial preparation and set up of the field, Scoreboards, PA system, and the San Jose PAL operated snack bar are also available. Security is not included. The person or organization renting the stadium agrees to pay the total rental cost, This payment should be in the form of a certified check payable To San Jose PAL or cash, and must be received within (30) days prior to the scheduled date event(s). A Contract will be processed by San Jose PAL Bookkeeper additional charges could be added to the contract. This payment is NOT REFUNDABLE if cancellation occurs less than (14) days prior to the scheduled event.
Deposit: An initial deposit in the amount of one-third (1/2) of the total amount due must be received within ten (10) days after receipt of this contract. The date(s) for the use of the stadium will be scheduled upon receipt of the deposit and application fee. The deposit and $50.00 application fee are non-refundable.
Security requirement: The San Jose PAL Executive Director will assign security personnel as deemed necessary. The organization requesting the use of San Jose PAL Stadium facilities will be responsible for paying security fees. San Jose Police Officers: $55.00/Hr, each individual to be paid at the end of each scheduled event. There is a (3) hr. minimum payable for each assigned individual.
Loudspeakers will be turned off at 10:00 P.M. SHARP: No events will be allowed to continue after 11:00 p.m. These rules will be waived in the event of championship playoffs or special events, or by special permission prior to the event and/or upon approval of the San Jose PAL Executive Director.
Do not argue with the San Jose PAL Staff, facility manager: Any complaints regarding the reservation, field lights, PA, etc. should be referred to the San Jose PAL office, 680 S. 34th St, San Jose, CA 95116. or call (408)272-9725
No one is allowed on the field prior to reporting time: If you are scheduled for the last game or event of the evening, please notify all the participants to leave the sports complex as soon as possible, so that the complex may be secured. The San Jose PAL representative will begin extinguishing field lights and locking gates fifteen (15) minutes after the completion of the scheduled event.
Rainout and Cancellation notification: If San Jose PAL does not call by 2:00 p.m. on the day of the event, the event should go on as scheduled. If an event is scheduled on a weekend, it is the responsibility of San Jose PAL to contact the organization representative for notification of cancellation or rainout. The money will be refunded if the event cannot be rescheduled.
No dogs, cans, bottles, or alcoholic beverages allowed: Food products may not be sold because of our concessionaire contract. Absolutely no ice coolers/chest(s) are allowed into the stadium, except one (1) per sports team.
No Smoking: Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere on PAL facilities.
Parking: The San Jose PAL Executive Director will determine the stadium-parking fee for each event.
No field will be reserved until the rental fee and signed contract have been returned. Upon receipt of the signed contract and our payment, we will email you an approved contract, which must be presented to the San Jose PAL representative at the field on the day of your event(s). You will not be allowed on the field without the approved contract.
Please make sure to follow all the guidelines COVID-19 while participating and renting PAL Stadium:
Outdoor and Indoor youth and recreational Adult sports
Please wear a mask at all times and wash your hands before and after practice/games and using the restroom.
The individual will be controlling measures and screening team, volunteers, coaches, participants and visitors
Due to covid-19 required to follow all safety guidelines from CDC and the County of Santa Clara Health department. Please make sure when the league activities start you don’t come to practice/games if you are feeling sick. You could return to practice/games when you no longer have any symptoms
Please Make sure to notify your coaches if you or a family member in the same household has tested positive with the virus or if you had close contact with someone that tested positive.
Stay 6 feet apart from other participants, waiting for coaches or pick up
All participants will be able to compete with following State competition guidelines.
Must do a check-in before arriving at practice or games
Recommended hygiene practices will be followed
All participants bring their own water bottle sharing is not permitted
Limit observation of youth sports including practice and competition. Limit the number of observers making sure physical distance can be maintained, reduce crowding capacity limits with California Department of Public Health
Individual responsible for their own sanitizer, mask and disinfected spray
