San Jose PAL Blitz Football Cheer for Ages (6-14)

San Jose Police Activities league is proud to announce the launch of Season 3 of Blitz Tackle Football and Cheer Programs for the Fall 2023 Season.  Our Football programs were first established in 1967, and we have a proud history of bringing football to the City of San Jose for over 56 Years.

We successfully relaunched the league after Covid and are very excited to announce that we are ready to start taking signups for the Fall Season now! We will again be playing our Games as a member of East Bay Youth Football and Cheer.  The approach will be like other PAL programs, where you will sign up to join the program and not a specific team.  If our sign-ups exceed the first team levels, we will create additional teams to compete.  We will be creating teams based on the signups and location, with practice fields will be determined as the teams are created.  Being one of the only organizations in San Jose that owns and operates our own field is an added perk to our program.  We are proud to say that all home games are currently being planned to play at PAL Stadium.

What sets us apart...

As a core program within PAL, we continually aspire to make our sports program attractive to all types of players, both elite and novice, and both large and small. In recent years, we have made a concerted effort to increase access to our programs, especially in our pre-high school youth programs, where we believe we are uniquely equipped to offer athletic activities and organizational support that alternative sports cannot provide.

Our Approach

The goal of our league is to provide a safe and productive environment that enables children to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship. We facilitate the development of strength and character in every child that participates. Participation in our league is open to all boys and girls in San Jose

Cheer Registration Fees

$150 plus the cost of uniform

**ALL fees become NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE after the 1st day of practice**

Why does cheer cost more than football? In Cheerleading you need a custom uniform tailored to your child’s measurements which will be theirs to keep. The Cheer director & the head coaches will set a date for fittings to be done. The uniform cannot be ordered until you are paid in full. Uniforms must be paid in full on or before July 1 or your uniform will not be ordered for the season. There are no exceptions.
