The San Jose Police Department PAL Junior Giants Baseball program offers a great recreational program for special needs youth.
San Jose PAL offers the only league in the state for the developed mentally and physically challenged players affiliated with the San Francisco Giants. There are a total of six teams with approximately 20 members per team, with players of all ages. Players have different types of disabilities, but they all enjoy the great American pastime: baseball. The teams play an eight-game schedule from mid-September through November. The San Francisco Giants provide each participant with a hat, shirt, and baseball equipment. San Jose PAL provides individual and team photos, trophies, and an end-of-year BBQ for participants and their families.
Registration typically begins in late summer. When registration details are available we will post a notice on this page. To participate you must complete the registration process, which will include the player registration and the adult code of ethics acknowledgment.
