Taekwondo, Tae Kwon Do or Taekwon-Do is a Korean form of martial arts involving punching and kicking techniques, with emphasis on head-height kicks, spinning jump kicks, and fast kicking techniques. The literal translation for tae kwon do is "kicking", "punching", and "the art or way of".
PAL Tae Kwon Do Program

PAL Tae Kwon Do classes are held year-round at the San Jose PAL Sports Complex for girls and boys ages 6 through 19 years. PAL provides hand pads, head protectors, and chest protectors. This equipment is kept at the location. Competitions are on an individual basis, with only light sparring, and no full contact in practice.

FEES: $75 per year. Please register on the registration page.
Testing fees are paid by parents to USA Martial Arts Studio.
Class schedule: Tuesday and Thursday, 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. at San Jose PAL
Coaches and other parent volunteers will need to complete the volunteer form and submit it to a Live Scan police records/background check.
