The Junior Giants Senior Baseball league (Senior Jr. Giants) is a non-competitive recreational program serving special needs adults 18 years and older in San Jose.
Competition is low and no scores are kept. Every player bats in each inning and runs the bases. Players are taught baseball skills, sportsmanship, and team spirit. There is no cost involved. Uniforms and hats are provided by the San Francisco Giants Community Fund.
Games are played on Saturdays from 12:00 to 3:00 pm beginning in April at the field behind Olinder Elementary School, San Jose.
Coaches and other parent volunteers will need to complete the volunteer form and submit to a Live Scan police records / background check.
This program has No Fee, however, to participate you must complete an application.
