"THE MISSION OF THE SAN JOSE POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE IS TO FORGE AN EVERLASTING BOND BETWEEN POLICE, YOUTH AND COMMUNITY THROUGH ATHLETICS, ACADEMICS AND ACTS OF GOODWILL"

San Jose PAL is a program offering healthy, safe activities to the youth of our community as an alternative to street crime, drugs and violence. Currently, the sporting activities in San Jose PAL include: Jr. Giants, Soccer, Tackle Football, Flag Football, Cheer, Boxing and Tae Kwon Do

Guido was not just a well-respected member of the San Jose Police Department; he was also a visionary and a driving force behind the creation of the San Jose Police Activities League in 1967. His tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to the community have left an indelible mark on the lives of countless individuals, young and old, in our beloved city.

Under Sgt. Guido's leadership, the San Jose Police Activities League has grown into an institution that fosters positive relationships between law enforcement and the community, offering guidance and support to youth through various educational and recreational programs. His passion for creating a safer, more connected community has left a legacy that will continue to benefit generations to come.

Sgt. Guido's passing is a profound loss to our community, and his memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. We must remember and celebrate his dedication, vision, and unwavering service to the betterment of our society. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched and inspired.
